7 Great Vegan Restaurants in Gold Coast to Try in 2024

The Gold Coast doesn’t have as many vegan restaurants as in other big cities in Australia, but they have plenty of great vegan options.

A lot of the vegan restaurants in Gold Coast weren’t accessible by public transit, but from my trip to Australia, I especially enjoyed the vegan food in Gold Coast.

Here are 7 amazing vegan restaurants in Gold Coast to try. I included vegan restaurants in Gold Coast that were on the top of my list from my research including price ranges and popular dishes.

I can’t wait to come back!

I did also go to a non-vegan restaurant and had one of the best and most realistic vegan meats I’ve ever eaten. 🤯

A vegan breakfast sandwich with melted cheese and a hash brown patty, accompanied by a single hash brown on the side, at Lord of the Fries in Surfer's Paradise, Gold Coast, Australia

I ordered from their breakfast menu and got their vegan chik’n waffle and hash brown sausage sandwich.

Favorite Vegan Food at Non-Vegan Restaurant

Zeus Street Greek

A bowl of seasoned fries paired with a vegan 'lamb' pita filled with plant-based meat, fresh veggies, and creamy sauce at Zeus Street Greek in Gold Coast, Australia

Address: Unit B32/147/189 Brisbane Rd, Biggera Waters QLD 4216, Australia

Page: zeusstreetgreek.com.au/new-flexible-meat-free-options

What I got: Vegan lamb pita wrap aka the Zeus ($10 USD)

Zeus Street Greek is a non-vegan restaurant chain with a few locations in Australia.

I went to Zeus Street Greek because it was the closest vegan option to me at Harbour Town when I visited Coombabah Lake Conservation Park to see wild kangaroos for the first time.

The was so good that I had to find another Zeus Street Greek when I visited other cities in Australia.

The texture was so meaty I had to look up to make sure it was vegan, which was rare for me.
