Annyeong Insadong vs Ssamzigil Mall?

A horizontal interior view of the Annyeong Insadong shopping center in Seoul, Korea, showcasing its multi-floor architecture with shoppers on various levels. The building combines modern design with traditional elements, featuring a large cartoon mural, wooden balconies, and a vibrant marketplace atmosphere on the ground floor

Annyeong Insadong is on the same street as Ssamzigil Mall (photo above), a 4-story mall that also sells traditional Korean crafts and souvenirs, as well as outdoor markets.

Both look very similar in structure. When I visited Seoul again in 2023, I thought Ssamzigil Mall was renovated into Annyeong Insadong Mall!

Annyeong Insadong Mall is more modern and has more restaurants, entertainment, and sitting areas. Both are still must-visits though!
