Vegan Picks is a vegan grocery in Angeles, but also takes dine-in reservations for vegan Filipino and western dishes.
Some of their dishes include vegan Filipino spaghetti, sisig, kare-kare, and vegan burgers.
While you’re there, they sell a range of vegan products from frozen meals, vegan meats, desserts, and vegan essentials.
Make sure to message on Facebook or call ahead to check if they’re open.
2. Oh! Live Green Restaurant
Address: Barangay Benigno Aquino, 303 H Ventura Ave, Angeles, Pampanga, Philippines

Oh! Live Green Restaurant is one of the OG vegan-vegetarian restaurants in Pampanga.
They serve healthy western-fusion plant-based meals like rice and protein bowls, sandwiches, and pastas, as well as smoothies, fresh juices, and desserts.
They’re also available on food ordering apps like GrabFood and Mangan.

3. TGI Green Food

Address: 4HMP+HG9, Plaridel Street, Angeles, 2009 Pampanga, Philippines
Location: Inside BIF’s restaurant at Nepo Mall

This is my go-to restaurant for vegan food when I visit Angeles.
While BIF’s is not a vegan restaurant, they serve a separate menu from TGI Green Food, which serves really good vegan and vegetarian Filipino food and western dishes using vegan meats from OmniPork, Beyond Meat, and local vegan businesses.

You can get vegan Filipino breakfast dishes like tocilog and tapsilog, and classics like vegan sisig and vegan Filipino BBQ.
If you’re craving other cuisines, they also serve burgers and pizzas.

4. Rasoi Indian Restaurant
Address: Hensoville Subdivision, 4180 Zeppelin, Angeles, 2009 Pampanga, Philippines
There are a lot of Indian restaurants in Angeles, Pampanga run by local Indian expats. Most will have vegan and vegetarian options.
Rasio Indian Restaurant has a section for vegetable dishes.
Make sure to ask if ghee butter was used, but some vegan-friendly dishes include aloo gobi, vegetable curry, and chana masala.
Other Indian restaurants in Angeles include: Royal Place Indian Restaurant, Bollywood Spice, and Krishna’s Place Indian Restaurant.
5. The Vintage Hall
Address: ABC Hotel, 21st Street, Don Juico Ave, Angeles, 2009 Pampanga, Philippines

Located inside the ABC Hotel, The Vintage Hall offers a vegan bowl with veggies, chickpeas, and rice and topped with hummus.
They also have a vegan burger. The patty is made with vegetables.
6. Purple PadThai Restaurant
Address: 1579 Manuel A. Roxas Hwy, Clark Freeport, Angeles, Pampanga, Philippines
While not the most authentic Thai food, they have vegan and veganizable Thai dishes marked vegetarian like fresh vegetable spring rolls, salads, vegetable spring rolls, and pad Thai (make sure there’s no egg).
They also have juices like Tamarind orange, lemon, and citrus trio.
7. Burger King

There are multiple Burger King locations in Angeles, Pampanga If you’re comfortable with vegan meats cooked on the same equipment as meat.
Burger King serves the Impossible burger and a vegan chicken sandwich with vegan mayo.

While the vegan community in Pampanga is not as large as in Manila, the vegan scene is growing and if you’re traveling with non-vegans, finding vegan-friendly restaurants is possible.
I also hope we can expect more to come from Pampanga and Kapampangan vegans. It is the cuisine capital of the Philippines after all!
