While you\u2019re at Insadong, a must-visit is the Ssamzigil Shopping Mall. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I went to Insadong quite a bit to visit my favorite <a href=\"https:\/\/heyroseanne.com\/vegan-restaurants-in-seoul\/\" data-type=\"post\" data-id=\"67306\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">vegan restaurant in Seoul<\/a> Osegye Hyang, and the \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Ssamzigil Shopping Mall<\/strong> is an open-space shopping complex located inside Insadong\u2019s famous shopping street. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ssamzigil has four floors <\/strong>of more than 70 shops selling mostly arts and crafts items, souvenirs, and fashion items. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It first opened in 2004 and is full of art pieces as well as <strong>galleries, workshops, and restaurants<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Another Insadong mall, <a href=\"https:\/\/heyroseanne.com\/ikseondong-hanok-village\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Annyeong Insadong<\/a>, is also located on the same Insadong Shopping Street. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>First floor:<\/strong> When you walk in, there is a large courtyard, often with vendors and booths in the center. You can attend different workshops on the first floor stores. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Second floor:<\/strong> Buy a souvenir from one of the many handmade craft shops. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Third floor:<\/strong> On the third floor are clothing shops and accessories, many of which are traditional Korean fashion items. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Fourth floor:<\/strong> When you reach the fourth floor, visit the Sky Garden and Galbi book cafe at the top of the building. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On each floor there are art pieces to browse and at each level you\u2019ll get a beautiful view of the whole mall. the different art pieces around the mall and workshops you can go to are worth visiting. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The whole area is quite colorful and many of the shops are also locally-owned and made if you The entrance to the mall will be on the main Insadong walking street, which is around a 5-minute walk away from the subway station. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>By Bus<\/strong> <\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>Depending on where you\u2019re coming from, there are many buses that go to Insadong, like bus #3, #273, and #172. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I recommend downloading the <a href=\"https:\/\/citymapper.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CityMapper<\/a> app for your trip to Seoul.
