8 Best Kpop Stores in Seoul for Albums, Merch & Lightsticks
After seven trips to South Korea, I’ve come across plenty of great kpop stores in Seoul.
Kpop albums and merch in Seoul are much cheaper than in the US and other countries, sometimes half the price (so make sure to save room in your luggage!)
Whether you’re shopping for albums, photocards, lightsticks, or official merchandise, you won’t have a problem, as many are located near major tourist attractions too.
Here are 8 of the best kpop stores in Seoul I recommend for first-time visitors and kpop fans.

This is one of my favorite places to buy kpop albums and merch in Seoul.
It’s located at exit 6 of the Myeongdong subway station, which is a popular underground shopping center.
There are about 3-4 shops that sell kpop merch.

At two of them you’ll find official kpop albums, most around $11 USD:
They always have new releases. I’ve seen fans line up on album release nights.

Two of the shops also sell official lightsticks. Depending on the group, the lightsticks cost $40-50 USD, but they’ll be cheaper at WithMuu.
One of the kpop stores located on the corner sell more unofficial merch like stickers, lomo pcs, keychains, etc.
They’ll have a lot of unofficial kpop pc packs and stickers displayed outside as well. It’s all quite cheap around a few dollars or less.

2. Music Korea

Music Korea is a popular kpop store in Seoul.
They have two locations in Myeongdong.
The newest location is located near exit 1 and 2 of the Myeongdong subway station and right next to Daiso. It is smaller but have all the newest releases, LPs, and kdrama OST albums.
They usually have a promo of 20% off if you follow them on Instagram.

The main Music Korea is located near the Myeongdong Underground Shopping Center (as of November 2025, still temporarily closed and under construction).
It’s on the 3rd floor of a Nature Republic store. Just keep going up the stairs.
Albums here are a few dollars more. Everything here is official merch.

3. Beat Road

Beat Road is a kpop store walkable from the Hongdae Shopping Street.
It’s located on the third floor, with a large cafe on the 2nd floor that you can visit after shopping.
They have plenty of newer releases as well as old gems.
The pricing is standard though not obvious on the albums.

4. WithMuu (3 locations)

WithMuu has three locations in Seoul: Hongdae, Myeongdong, and Yongsan (click on the location for their Naver Map).
All three locations have official albums, light sticks, and items from recent pop-ups.
1. Hongdae: Located on the 2nd floor of the AK Plaza Mall in Hongdae.
If you’re in the Hongdae area, it’s definitely worth visiting.

They sell lots of official lightsticks and mini lightsticks, maybe the most I’ve seen at kpop stores in Seoul.
They also have cute non-kpop items, clothing, as well as a cafe and photobooths.
2. Myeongdong: This location is new and has less quantity but has three floors.

- Floor 1 – albums and light sticks.
- Floor 2 – Recent kpop pop-up items and non-kpop items.
- Floor 3 – Cafe.
3. I’Park Mall in Yongsan is located on the 6th floor of the I-Park Mall attached to Yongsan Station.
It’s similar items to the the other two locations.

5. KTown4U
The popular online store KTown4U has two in-person kpop stores in Seoul.
One is inside the Annyeong Insadong Shopping Complex on the Insadong Street. It’s also a cafe and they sometimes have popups.

The second KTown4U store is located in the COEX Mall in Gangnam and is larger than the one in Insadong.
It has 3 floors:
- Floor 1 – Albums and light sticks.
- Floor 2 – Kpop academy for dance and sing.
- Floor 3 – Cafe (plus tax refund machine)

Right next to Seoul Forest is SM Entertainment’s building and where KWANGYA, SM’s flagship kpop store is located.
You can buy kpop merch from SM artists, plus the store is filled with digital displays.
It’s small, but worth going if you’re visiting Seoul Forest or SM next door.
7. Buruttrak

Also in Myeongdong is Buruttrak, a kpop store in Seoul that is is a combo of everything.
They have official albums, older records, dvds, lightsticks and unofficial merch.
It’s slightly more expensive than those available in the Myeongdong Underground Shopping Center, but they have a lot of items.

8. Hallyu Storm
Google Maps | Instagram (Could not find them on Naver Map)

Hallyu Storm is another kpop store in Hongdae, though located a bit farther from the main street.
What sets them apart is their huge collection of photocards if you’re looking for a specific pc.
They also have an online store you can order from.
I found a lot of pop-up merch items as well.

BONUS: Kpop Merch Online

If you want to order kpop merch online from Gmarket or from official kpop group websites, you can try asking your hotel if it’s okay to send the order to the hotel’s address.
Shipping is pretty fast and cheap in South Korea.
A lot of fans in Korea also do groups orders for fanmade merch like slogans and pickets that you can join, usually on Twitter.
You either get it by pick up or ask to send it to you.
I hope this post was helpful! Have a great time living your best fangirl-fanboy-fanby life. 💁🏻♀️
